Efficiency Vermont's Efficiency Excellence Network awarded us "Most Thermal Savings" and "Most Projects" for a small company in 2016.

Comfort and efficiency starts with us!

We offer you expert installation of cellulose and spray foam insulation:

Cellulose

Cellulose is a great insulation material with a high R-value. It’s treated against fire, mold and pests as well as being made from recycled material. We can work in new or existing structures and we’ll help you choose the most cost-effective and non-invasive methods to meet your insulation needs.

Spray Foam

Sometimes cellulose isn’t the best option. Damp basements, rim boards and some wall cavities are best insulated using this amazing spray-on foam. With high R-value, an ability to expand into a space and airtightness, we’ll advise you on which insulation is best for you.

About Walpole, NH

Walpole, NH is a town in Cheshire County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 3,734 at the 2010 census

The town's central settlement, where 605 people resided at the 2010 census is east of New Hampshire Route 12. The town also includes the villages of North Walpole and Drewsville.

The town was first granted in 1736 by Colonial Governor Jonathan Belcher of Massachusetts as "Number 3", third in a line of Connecticut River fort towns. It was settled as early as 1736, and called "Great Falls" or "Lunenburg". Colonel Benjamin Bellows, for whom Bellows Falls, Vermont, is named, built a large fort here for defense against Indian attack.

The first bridge across the Connecticut River, an engineering feat in its day, was built at Walpole in 1785, and is regarded as one of the most famous early spans in the United States. The town contains many architecturally significant old houses, including several associated with Colonel Bellows and members of his family. Walpole Academy, built in 1831 and attributed to master-builder Aaron Prentiss Howland, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The abundant lilacs in the town inspired Louisa May Alcott to write the 1878 book Under the Lilacs.

“Moisture transfers from high moisture content to lower moisture content. So, if there is ductwork for air conditioning or heating in the basement and that ductwork is leaky, airborne mold spores or other unhealthy bacteria can be drawn into the ductwork and be carried throughout the entire house,” says Chad Farnum, Owner of Farnum Insulators.
